Prindable's works to guarantee that these standards define the company and staff.  Based in Belleville, Illinois and marketing to the St. Louis Metro Area and the surrounding 300 mile radius, Prindable's Auction and Real Estate Services, Inc. has handled over 2000 gallery, estate, real estate and commercial/industrial auctions since 1976. They have worked with literally 100's of trust attorneys, executors, businesses and families in the five state area.

With a strong background in antique, estate, farm, liquidation, gallery, and general auctions, Prindable's has helped families and businesses dispose of valuables and real estate for over 25 years. Prindable's, originally a one-man operation, has grown to a staff of 25 with 3 additional auctioneers.

In 1988 Prindable's purchased the Harrison Machine Works. Built in 1928, this "St. Louis Union Station" style structure was originally used to build steam engines. It's since been turned into an impressive 12,000 square foot auction facility, while maintaining many of the historical elements that were unique to the original building. Opened in 1989, with handicapped access, lots of parking, generous seating for local and national auctions, high tech sound, lighting, and television monitor systems, the Prindable Auction Center is certainly one of the finest auction facilities in the region.



About the founder.
Jim Prindable, founded Prindable's Auction and Real Estate Services, Inc. in 1976.  Jim passed away in late March, 2002.  A native of Belleville, IL, Jim was active in the community and served in a variety of both location and national clubs and organizations, including the National Auctioneer's Association, Illinois Auctioneer Association and the Certified Auctioneer Institute.  Jim always worked hard to create a lasting company based upon integrity, quality and great service.  Over time, he built the largest auction service in southern Illinois.  Although Jim is no longer with us, he left behind a strong staff which continues to provide people with the same standard of service you've come to expect from his company.
