Sometimes,
while evaluating your estate, we might recommend reserving
part or all of it for a gallery auction. This type of auction
offers groups of important items in a nationally advertised
auction. Gallery auctions attract many more buyers than general
auctions and will usually help you get a higher price. As
we present only the most valuable pieces in gallery auctions,
usually from more than one estate, we are much more aggressive
in our advertising and marketing efforts.
These
sales take place in our unique facility originally built in
1928 for the Harrison Machine Works. It originally housed
a steam engine building plant. We've remodeled it for auction
purposes, but kept the feel of the original building, which
was much like the Union Station train shed in St. Louis. Of
course, we have handicapped access, plenty of bathroom facilities,
seating for large audiences and state of the art electronics.
The turn out for gallery auctions is tremendous and always
well worth attending.
When
we come to talk with you about your estate, we'll use our
extensive background in estate appraisal to advise you as
to items that are appropriate for this type of auction. We've
helped attorneys, executors and families throughout the five
state region for 25 years to get the greatest exposure and
the highest prices for their valuables.
